2000 New Mexico (Quarter) No Luster On Reverse.

Need help on this one. This NM coin has no luster on the reverse. The edges don't seem to have any paint or staining on it. Wondering what you all think. It sounds different when you drop it alongside a normal NM coin.

As hinted at, it probably spent some time with one side exposed to environmental elements while the other was relatively protected. It is just environmental damage.
