Very nice one but it has a spot on the obverse. Do you think acetone would do this coin any good? I'm kinda apprehensive about soaking this one. How did I do on the diagnosis?

Very nice find! So, is this an Off-Center Still with a Partial Collar and a Die Clash? That's literally the most interesting Lincoln Cent I've ever seen! Well done! It looks like it's in etheir high AU condition or BU condition.

Thanks guys. And e@v it is very interesting. If it didn't have those few spots it would be perfect, but that how most things are. Lol. I did good on 84s on this round. Got another one that's a minor DDO. Not in good condition though.

You ask about acetone. It most likely will not help those carbon spots, that is reactive corrosion happening. Acetone won't really affect the coin metal, it will remove organic materials as skin oils fro handling, which is the most destructive to the stinkin zinkins.

Looks like a Greaser, more-so than just the normal "states of"?

Thanks again guys. And crazyBo that's what I thought about the acetone. It's clean enough. And newmember I was thinking that too but thought it may have to do with the offcenter strike?

It very well might, if its placement is the indicator. It certainly looks like a Grease Fill and it would be a great additional flaw to add to that one! I posted a penny the other day with a few flaws but, after seeing yours, I feel I may have a little "penny envy"....
