This coin is more commonly called the Liberty Head nickel or Liberty nickel even though Charles Barber was the designer of this coin alongside his designs of the Barber dime, quarter and half dollar. The head of Liberty is different for the nickel than the one used for the other denominations. It is interesting hearing this referred to as the Barber nickel which isn't entirely wrong.
