Hi, I am Melinda from the West Houston area. I have been collecting since I was a little girl. Mostly pennies then and mint collections as I got older. I am going back through things now reviewing and seeing what I have.

I found a coin today that I wanted yall to look at. 2008 New Mexico Quarter. The right side looks like the mint stamp didn't quite get all the way in. there is an indent on both sides, indented but not raised up like normal. front and back.

@Ziggyscoins, first welcome to CCF.

Second, it looks like you are actually looking at the rim being a little less pronounce in this area. Is that right?

fellow Texan!

I don't see anything particularly special about this coin, but you have a good eye to pick up on the rim. From what I can tell from your photos, it could be circulation wear or Post Mint Damage ( PMD).
