I've never saw this color on a coin before. It doesn't look painted, but it has a light rose patina to it. Can you help identify? It has some putting around the rim.

It looks like severe Environment Damage. This is Post Strike Damage. Worth face value, since it's damage.

The rim looks like someone sanded off the plating.

Doesn't copper take on a color such as the coin on the left when it has been cleaned? I could be wrong thoug and I don't know why you would clean such a common coin.
