Aus45 New Member United Kingdom 2 Posts	Posted 05/27/2018 3:06 pm Hi, I inherited this gold penny unfortunately as my Nan died and I'm just wondering if it's worth anything. I have no idea about coins so any information would help. I'm not gonna sell it anyway because it was my nans but just wondering how I should treat it and where I should store it (safe) I tried to use the image uploader but couldn't seem to make my images smaller than 300kb so I uploaded the pictures to a free image hoster. * Edited by Staff to add images to post. * Thank you for your time much appreciated! The problem with the free image hosts is that the images tend to disappear. If I had to guess 10 to 45 depending on the buyer (very good for jewellery piece). NOTE ONLY GOLD PLATED, which is some that is covered in a thin layer of gold. Report this Post to the Staff

As ryurazu said, it is just a common penny that has been gold plated to become a souvenir so there's not much value in it. Guy on ebay has been selling various gold plated Penny dates on/off for the last couple of years and gets $2-3 for them unless they are a rare date or variety. Report this Post to the Staff
