This is something I've not seen before.

Insight-Into-This-Foreign/Good-For-Token Insight-Into-This-Foreign/Good-For-Token

It's apparently a good-for token that was struck on a foreign coin, a Swedish 1 ore. (It might be a little hard to see due to how dark this thing is.) Naturally, there's no information on this anywhere, and "S&I" doesn't really narrow down the list of suspects very much.

What I want to see is, has anybody else come across something like this before -- a token stamped on a foreign coin? Any ideas on how or why it would have been made? Might this just be a trial strike? As it's Swedish I guess the maker was as well, or otherwise had a connection to there.

It must be an American or Canadian issuer, since apart from the decimalised currency of the major British colonies, only they would have English and cents.

@nautilator, if you cross-post it on the "post a counterstamp" thread http://goccf.com/t/126486), you might have better luck as @exoguy is the CCF expert on these.
