Not a clip, looks like PMD, to me.. see in your first photo how the metal is pushed up, that tells me it was a cutting or sanding motion that did this damage.

Nope, not a real Clipped (Incomplete) Planchet. It's 100 percent Post Strike Damage, since you can see the pushed in and grinded down metal. Worth face value.
