What do you guys use to carve with?
I have zero talent in this field and being clumsy with sharp tools does not help (I have some scars to prove it!) If I ever decided to make one, it would probably involve the use of a CNC machine!

I have one "Hobo Nickel" for every finger I'm missin'....!.....and then I stopped carving for obvious reasons !......

Kidding !..

Though I might feel artistic from time to time.....this isn't something I've ever attempted......the "practicing would get costly for me"/////

I said the same thing about 6 months ago. I can't draw, paint, sculpt, or do anything else artistic, but with just a little help, I learned to carve nickels- and it's not as hard as it might seem. It's a bit slow at first, but it's a lot of fun. After you get the hang of it, it goes faster. If you'd like to learn more about carving, shoot me an email and I'll be happy to help.
