So I was checking my finds from my box for varieties and found what appears to be unlisted RPM for the 1953-D. I was looking for the inverted D but saw a secondary D to the West of the initial MM. What do you guys think?

I saw the MD portion. But if you look off to the northwest you can see a top curve of a secondary "D" and some of the straight line.
Rest in Peace

- the "second D" you are seeing is flat and shelf-like. The die moved and smeared the D
