Found a rotated die 1844 O Half Dime today with approximately 170 degree rotation. Kind of a beat up coin but I like that it has the error. Pretty happy with the find! Would this coin even have a grade or is it corroded? Lemme know what you guys think?

Thanks everyone

Well did you flip it UP - DOWN, or SIDE by SIDE like a medal?

That is a rare enough coin without the rotation. I would say - cool find, but not much added value.

I oriented my pictures straight up and down, but yes I did the flips correctly and it's just short of 180. I've seen the chart you've offered others Mark and I'm waiting for access to the printer to give you all an exact number. Nonetheless it is about 170.

The 1844 O is, I believe, USUALLY seen with this rotation. On the other hand it is a nice semi-key date. (in a series with a lot of key dates)
