I found this ? LMC that almost looks like a 2 where the date should be. Chances are it is just a Greaser but have a look. Even if it were a 2 it looks like it might be in the wrong spot on the date. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Awesome find! There's absolutely no trace of the date. It was Struck Through Grease.

Thanks my friend! I'll just pretend it's a 1992 closed AM looking at it in a 2x2!

You're very welcome! It's one heck of a Greaser! Definitely a keeper. Is this your first dateless Greaser that you've come across?

Edit: I do see the number two and the partial date, but it's too far gone from being Struck Through Grease. What I do know is it's from the Denver Mint as you can see the mint mark in the 3rd picture.

No, I have a couple from just about every decade from the 1940's on. I just thought I'd post this one because I thought it was pretty neat.

Oh. That's pretty cool that you've found more of them. I'm glad you shared this. Definitely an interesting Greaser.

I believe you're right CC. The 1992 LMC has a revised bow tie. The only year with that. The bow tie matches 2000's cents.

There are a lot of things that are different on the 1992 cents:
