Yes it was a surprise to see 3 in a letter from the states and on coin night as well. It was a bigger surprise to see what this was.

Don't ever try to mail something "surface" from Burlington, Ontario to New Zealand. I mailed these to Don on March 3rd and they just arrived ... 3 months and a week. I felt bad for any collector living in New Zealand trying to get access to 1859 Canuck large cents, so I asked for his mailing address. As I told Don when we made the "deal" ... I'll send you a package of culls (I use them as golf-ball markers and give them away as such) if you pay the postage. So he got 40 1859's for $16 US.

No, I am in error.... it's been so long that I forgot what was in the box. Evidently I sent you Vicky large cents after the colonial issues. I knew that you used Haxby's site to find die pairs and just thought that I had sent you some more '59's. Oh well, 40 of anything is a pretty good deal for postage.
