It's not an error. It's Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint). It's a Dryer Coin. Click on the blue highlighted word for more information.

Thank you foe the quick reply and may I say, I am very impressed by your knowledge. I learn a lot. However it does not look like any of the pictures. Anyway, another keeper, even it is just worth a penny:) it really looks funny.

You're very welcome! And yes, you can still keep it if you like. The good thing about this is you probably only got it for face value anyway. You can keep it in your "Oddball" coin collection.
