2018 D Lincoln Shield Spiked Head

Ok this is not breathtaking and I had to get photos from different angles and settings but this die crack, I think, extends from the rim into the head. You have to look at the pictures individually. Maybe it is. What do you think.

Great find and good eye! It does extend to his head, so it would qualify as a "Spiked Head" Die Crack.

Nah. They're pretty common in the stage you have. If they are drastic like a couple I saw posted here recently then maybe Cuds on coins, but they'd have to be pretty special. Still a cool find. I love me a spiked head. I found a 2015 DDO that has that identical crack right through the middle of the W.

There is no reason that you shouldn't submit it for listing. Errors on modern Denver issues don't seem to be that common and I'm sure BJ would be happy to list your coin.
