At just 15mm in diameter this is the smallest (in both size and buying power) coin in my contemporary counterfeit collection so far. It's also the most recent, knocking my 1924 Weimar Germany

Made of a very dark gray and non-magnetic metal with silvering over it.

Mini coins are a bit different though. In this case the small 15mm size is also the normal size for a genuine coin.

It could very well be the case. I have no way to reliably test it, but the color does look more like tin than silver in hand.
