to CCF. That is called deteriorated die doubling,aka worn die.Not an error or variety,value 1 cent.

WOW that is some deterioration of the dies. Not worth anything if your wondering about value. However, it is odd for a Cent in the 90's to have that happen.

I didn't think deterioration like that could happen with Zincolns. Wow was I wrong. They worked that die to death.

It can't be Machine Doubling. The doubling is above e pluribus unum and the memorial. Yet below the one cent and the memorial. It had to have been double struck. I'm figuring with the transition. That's why I included the edging photos as well. I have several. The coins that have the triple clashes and die cracks don't have hardly any doubling. The machined doubles are still lined with the print but secondary print is too far spread out directly across.
