I am sure it is just a die error and not a actual doubling affect to the whole penny. Sorry for all the photos I just wanted to get the front and back covered. John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 06/13/2018 06:47 am I am not seeing a DDO or a DDR. Looks like a worn die issue. John1 Coins are minted not died. Coins are minted in San Francisco-Philadelphia-Denver and sometimes West Point. Then they are shipped to Armour car companies who roll them and then distribute them to banks and credit unions.
