Could someone let me know if this one is Struck Through Grease? It was right on top left of the memorial. Also, can you tell me what the grade would be? As I still try to learn how to grade. Much appreciate.

Don't know what it is, but if it was grease filled I would think that it would be more flat and it looks raised. Imho. Not too good on the grading. Wait for the big guys.

Thanks Killians. My first initial thought was maybe in VLDS, but still unsure. If in VLDS then USoA should be closer to the rim but this just doesn't look like it. As you can see the memorial look a little crooked or wavy. Maybe Die Polished. Waiting for all big guys to chime in.

Thanks E&V. Can you tell if the memorial look kind of slanted a little or kind of wavy? Or if it just my eyes are tired.

I am leaning towards die clash. Bay 3 and 4 and above building looks bulged.

Often die clashes will happen on one side stronger? If they try polishing them out that will leave the design weaker. This may be the case on your coin. Altered die.

We often stop looking ata coin when we find something interesting. But more often than thought, more than on event can be found on coins. Machine Doubling, Die Deterioration, split plating can all happen on a coin. We often times just stop looking when we spot just one event.

Looks like die subsidence. I've only seen it on 1973-D.

Thank you very much everyone for giving me the best possible answer. When you hold the coin up in hand and look closely, you can see the reverse is wavy and bumpy (best I can described).

After a little of research I'm leaning toward "Die Subsidence' (Sunken Die), and also Altered Die (Coop said). Like Tanman2001 said it only happen on 1973-D that's why I still unsure.
