I have about 30 of these AU/UNC 1943-G 50 reichspfennings. NGC and Krause price guide is over $100 for UNC coins. Are these worth grading, or just better to sell raw?

Try one or two to test the waters maybe? Nazi stuff is popular, just not THAT (30) popular!

But seriously, it may pan out for a couple slabbed MS67+'s to hit the marketplace. I generally see them raw, and have seen 2marks/3 marks but they sell for melt plus. Don't even wish a Krause or NGC value is anywhere close, like estimating values of RPMs. I take those and go 1/8-1/4 when I bid on German 3/4 oz silvers.

I agree that's good advice from crazyb0.

I am not seeing sales of this coin on ebay for anything close to $100, though it is also true that yours are in much better grade than what has actually sold on ebay. The best looking example currently for sale on ebay (comparable to yours) is listed at $35 and has been up for 15 days, with no watchers at the moment as best I can tell.

If these were mine, I would pick one that is not the best of the lot, but still attractive, and list it on ebay as BIN/Best Offer at, say $40 or $50, and see what kind of offers I get.

Do not put in your listing that you have 30 to sell.

I do not think you will find it's worth grading, though again, you could take the best one and send it in, and see what you can get. I doubt you would actually lose money on that transaction, but I suspect you will do better selling them raw.

It's possible that when you pay for grading, you may reduce the profit you may have had if you sold it to someone else and let them have it graded if that's what they want to do.
