From the pictures, it looks like it has been harshly cleaned. There are fine marks/scratches going one way. I also agree that this seller isn't very honest, so I wouldn't deal with him either. jfransch Pillar of the Community United States 1801 Posts	Posted 06/29/2008 11:25 pm A while back, Vernon Coin (find them online) was selling posters of all the grades of Walking Liberty halves. It was a great resource for people who collect Walkers. Use it in conjunction with the ANA Guide and with PhotoGrade and you can get pretty good at grading walkers. However, realize early walkers are graded on a different standard due to poor striking. I also concur with Halfabustisbetter, this coin looks like it might have been tooled to make the details appear more detailed. Report this Post to the Staff
