lookingfor New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 06/16/2018 10:22 pm it has been a while since I was last on here trying to learn as much as possible you folks on here have been very helpful , and I do appreciate it . I ha a jeff nickel looks like doubling on reverse some letters seem to go right into the raised edge . it looks like most of the reverse has doubling and it almost has full steps , the coin looks to me as being in very good condition . but I'm more interested to here what you guys think , I do look forward to hear what you think . thank you john lookingfor Report this Post to the Staff

As you mentioned the devices are touching the rims. Note the tops of the letters ST on States: do you see the shadow on the inside edge of those devices? That is sign of a very worn die. Did you not the O on Monticello? That is Machine Doubling. So you are having MD and an extremely worn die. But I don't see any evidence of hub doubling.
