And lastly, if you are saying that a letter is missing from the coin then odds are that it is a Struck Through Grease issue. Very common.

There is such a thing as a dropped letter but very different than a Grease Filled Die.A dropped letter is a lot more valuable than most greasers.Need photos.

Oh yes. I remember reading about them. Is it where a grease filled letter or number looses its 'package' of compressed material. It falls onto a die and creates a strike through?
