I'm new at this. Learning as much as I can from the fantastic group here. My impression is MD. Mainly because of how the 'R' looks. The doubling on it is larger than the actual letter. A true DD both are the same size.

Let the pros chime in.

Coop, E&V etc. Is what I said accurate?

It's a Doubled Die Obverse. I can see the separation lines and notches. I do see a little bit of Machine Doubling, but that's bound to happen, since proofs are struck twice.

Definitely a DDO.

Could be DDO-017, 025, or 035. I think those three are the closest matches.

masterj I think what you are seeing is reflection from the lighting. if you check out the link tanman provided, it will give you a better idea on what we are seeing. the date shows thicker devices with separation lines. the top left of 2nd T in "TRUST" you can see some light notching. bottom left of S in "TRUST" and slightly on the U. Not sure the exact die as many are very similar.

There are a lot of these. Hard to match up. But someday, I'm hoping they will all get listed.

I have 17 DDRs for 1962 that are unlisted.
20 DDOs not listed or determined yet. (That is not considering doubles that I have)
Someday when I get a chance.
