Came across this 1994 penny and it has a very apparent sort of doubling. The coin is in great condition and would like to get some more information on it as I'm new to coin collecting and don't have much experience with the doubling differences.

It looks like Machine Doubling (MD) to me.

I'm sorry,but the pictures aren't good enough to tell. Better pictures will be needed for an accurate answer.

I don't even think it's Machine Doubling. My interpretation is that the movement of metal into the devices leaves a shiny shadow on the surface that looks like doubling, but it's not even raised. If that's what the OP is seeing. I've seen this on lots of coins but not sure what to call it.
