I recently purchased an endoscope to use for finding varieties. While looking for varieties, I came across the coin in the attach photos.

ON THE OBVERSE:

In the first photo, I noticed what appeared to be a "D" to the right of the mint mark. On closer examination, it looks like a 3 to me. I also noticed that, in the date, the "2" and the "0"are missing pieces at the top and bottom of both numbers, and the last "1" is cut-off at an angle, at the top of the "1".

In the second photo, I noticed that, commencing at the tragus of Lincoln's ear, extending up and to the right at roughly a 30 degree angle to horizontal, and ending about half way to the hair line, there is a tube with no detail in it. Also, the "R" in "TRUST" appears have a shortened leg on the "R". Finally, there is a line running parallel to rim commencing on both sides of the bottom of Lincoln's bust, and visible around 3/4 of the coin.

I did not notice anything unusual on the reverse.

Please tell me: Is this a variety, have I gone crazy with my new endoscope, or both?

Thank you.

To CCF! I don't see anything wrong with the coin. It's a normal coin.

That's a stain on the mintmark and contact marks on the date. The line around the rim is Die Deterioration. No errors or varieties here.

Also,

There are no doubles dies listed for anything from 2011 Denver all the way up to 2018 Denver shield cents. It's like the shield is blocking doubl d dies for Denver lol I don't even look at Denver shield cents. If there were doubled dies for Denver shield cents, I'm sure hey would have been found by now. Only one I would look at is 2018 D but I'm not going to look until someone finds doubled dies for them. Don't want to waste time on a non variety coins
