So here we have a 3 Kreuzer token with the inscriptions
"friedrich Fuhr" and "marke kreuzer"

It weighs 1.64 grams and has a diameter of 18 millimeters.

It is brass and has the same size as the 19th century 3 Kreuzer coins from Austria and the german states.

From the look of it it appears to be 19th century as well.
I found no hits in numista.

If anyone can tie this to a more specific place or purpose I would be grateful.

A good guess would be a token for 3 Kreuzer issued by a person or organization named Friedrich Fuhr.

This is a token for 3 groschen or 1 kreuzer. That standard would make this Austrian or South German. There is not indication of city or town but the name of the issuer is Friedrich Fuhr.

I've done some looking and came up with nothing worth mentioning. After work, if the mystery remains, I'll look some more.

Dear Oriole,

In German language there are whole forums and websites dedicated to collectors of such coins/tokens/chips:
https://wertmarkenforum.de/

This particular website also has a cool download section with several free catalogues of such chips:
https://wertmarkenforum.de/downloads-kataloge

I haven't had the time to search through more than one of them to try and find your specific piece. So far no luck.

I hope this helps at least a little bit! :)
