Lincoln Cent Mintmark Sizes - Coin Community Forum

Pennypusher Valued Member United States 486 Posts	Posted 06/26/2008 10:22 pm I found out today there are large and small mintmark varieties for the 1928-S and 1941-S Lincoln cents. Is there a price difference between these small and large mintmarks? If not, would you expect this variety to be recognized more in the future? Report this Post to the Staff

florida Valued Member United States 417 Posts	Posted 06/26/2008 10:39 pm Coin Prices has the 1928 varieties listed; they're a couple dollars difference with the Large S being more expensive. In MS-60, the Small S is $74, but the Large S is $140 They also have both dates for dimes, just the 1928 for quarters and dollars. Report this Post to the Staff

It would be awesome if someone can post pics of the small mintmark vs. large mintmark for the Merc the quarter and the cent! A list of price differences would also be greatly appreciated!
