Ok, as for this coin. On my husbands micro scope it looks like a Lincoln's hair isn't attached on his head. My micro scope doesn't really show it to well. Any guesses as to why this is? He has two other 2008 pennies that look to do the same thing. Please help.

There seems to be an extra top for the "T" in trust on this 1983 plain as well. Any one know what's up with that?

That is called split plating. It is not a coin you want to keep. The zinc is exposed and breaking down because the plating was split. So move on to the next coin.
Because I'm in no hurry to reach my 30K goal, I'm taking it slow. So you will need to pull me out with coins that I can't refuse to comment on. So I'm holding back.
