Trivia time? What year did the 3 mints make only one denomination at each of the three mints. The only runs for the year.
What were the coins from each mint?

I retract my first answer it's wrong. I reread the question. Now I have to think about it.

I would've said 1933 as well but cents were made at both Philly and Denver that year. I'm stumped

oh I was thinking it was only one denomination total so there would have to be three different types of coins at three different mints

Quote:Yes 3 circulation coins were struck Philly cent Denver cent and San fran half dollar I just happen to know from the book I'm reading that the Philly mint also struck gold eagles and double eagles in 1933. No double eagles were legally released, but some eagles were, so I think that should discount 1933.

Show us a 1933 coin other than cents or half dollar that year from the US mint. The Denver and Philadelphia mints just cents. The San Francisco mint struck halves. That was all that were struck that year from those US mints. No nickels, dimes, quarters or dollars that year. I wasn't alive that year, but my grandmother died during child birth when my Mom was two. Sad story I know, but things were tough then.

I see half dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels and cents all from 1933.
1931 Dimes, Nickels, and Cents?

From what I have read, the last transaction at the Philly Mint involving a legitimate exchange for a new 1933 eagle is known as to date, cashier and recipient.
