1 mon Kanei Tsuho top-bottom-right-left: kan ei tsu ho Shin Kanei Tsuho mint mark Gen for Genroku era : (Takatsu/Osaka) time of issue : Kanpo 1 The coins were cast Genroku 5 (1740) therefore the mintmark GEN, but issued the next year Kanpo 1 (1741)
