I had clean cookies and history, signed into CCF (only) and while reviewing a post I had just made recently I was redirected to a place called orgeles-hantests.
My webroot blocked it immediately.

I googled this place and it is definitely a fake malware pop-up possibly from This domain name was registered the 31/01/2018 and update for the very last time the 31/01/2018. The subscription period will finish the 31/01/2019 The orgeles-hantests.com main IP address is XXXXXXXX and it's located to United States, Virginia, Ashburn . This domain name was registered with Amazon Registrar, Inc..

This has been my only pop up in months, today it happened and I thought it might be of interest. I run a pretty clean machine. I am not pointing a finger at CCF but it did happen here in General Discussion today.

It was probably embedded in one of the ads visible on CCF. Some advertisers are guilty of bad behavior such as this;;it is difficult to the hosting site (i.e., CCF) to control this and the ad revenue is important to providing what is a free site for members.

I experienced this on a mobile device. A pop up appeared to a shady-looking website. Probably part of an advertisement and not the CCF's fault.

Just mentioning, I am not in any way saying it is CCF. It could even be my corn-puter.
Rest in Peace

I was actually browsing on CCF when out of nowhere I got grabbed by a ransomware bot, hit with that temporary as r locked up computer. A nifty reset to a safe point a week before erased all that, back in business. It doesn't matter what site you're cruzing, they randomly pick your number hoping to sucker those unknowing to buy their "special security package" then they remove the malware
