Hey there I'm Penelope and have collected mainly pennies since early childhood. This was a past time for dad and I. Except as a child my collection was simply tossed into a glass jar. As I got older I put certain dates aside but couldn't recall the significance of each.

Well, years later (now) I'm starting to read up in coins and go through the unlimited supply if pennies and other coins which survived not being spent and I have lots of questions, however, will start with my 92's BC I've got several there. If I'm asking to much or doing the posts wrong please be kind and let me know. All help is greatly appreciated.

First up is a 1992 d Lincoln Cent. I believe doubling can be seen on front and back side of this coin. At the end if the date there looks like another number is there like a 3 or 4 and it's located slightly above or to side of last digit on date.

Then on the back side I know if AM are touching it's obviously Close AM but are all touching to be classified as that? Is there a measured amount so I can check. Can someone tell me their input in these areas I've just mentioned?

Once again thank you for any and all assistance. I greatly appreciate your time and effort to educate me.

One more I almost forgot to mention, there's a letter just above the C on the word Cent, anyone know why or what it is? Thanks.

Sincerely,

P.K.

It is the normal Wide AM for that year. Note how the 'M' is centered between the A & E? A sure sign for a Wide AM.

The closeup images are too blurry to distinguish any doubling.

It is a Wide AM though.

I like what you tried to do but it would have been better to post each photo separately due to the size limit on this site.
As stated above both are Wide AM. I could enlarge the reverse enough to say they are not doubled. The obverse was too blurry though.

To CCF! Unfortunately, it's just the normal Wide AM on your coin, which is the correct and intended reverse design for that year.
