What do you think this grade is? It looks OK, but pretty worn. I'm thinking AU50 or XF45. Maybe less.

What are the indicators that it has been cleaned? Thanks,

AU-50 Details, cleaned. Lack of luster and "cleaned look" (reflective fields and overdipped look) tell that this coin has been cleaned.

This seller (GNCoin) is known to sell polished coins. Ask for opinions on their coins on CCF before purchasing anything from this dealer.

AU-50 but don't see clear evidence of cleaning/polishing notwithstanding dealer's rep.

AU55, not cleaned - late die state with lots of flow lines and an obverse die crack above LIB - but the X shaped scratch on the buffalo is a bit distracting...

I also agree that it hasnt been cleaned, at least not improperly. It still has a decent amount of luster, too. I think AU55 is reasonable.

AU50, I don't see hairlines in the pictures that would indicate cleaning, but if that seller is known to photoshop or otherwise alter photos, then listen to these experienced folks and run.
