Millennium Notes fetch a pretty high dollar as of late. Some fetch 25 to 40 times their face value. But why is it that some districts are more expensive than the others?

Aren't Millennium Notes considered the 2001 series as they were the first notes printed in the "New Millennium"

As far as I know they don't have any more significance then any other series. As far as districts are concerned...some have a higher percentage of star notes reproduced then other districts ergo the rarity factor increases the value.

This here is no different then gold plated quarters. It's worth the price of a normal star note and that's it

The $1 note in the picture is another representation of what the $2 dollar millenium is.

Where can you find the printing figures for each district for the $1 Millennium notes and the $2 dollar Millennium notes. Word is that they never printed all 9999 from each district. Same with the 2003 stars. Some districts trail off at about 14000 instead of the 16000 they said were printed from each district
