Picked this up for $52. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!

VF35, there seems to be quite a few scratches in the obverse field to the right.

It could make XF40 in this day and age of market grading. $52 sounds like a fair price being as it is free of any major distractions.

VF-35. I am suspicious of surface originality. Pics once in hand will help.

EF-40+, but the difference in coloring on the two sides bothers me a bit.

I'd like to buy these for $52, LOL. VF35 minimum, looks like toned over a very old cleaning, but still has good eye appeal!

It's an XF40 to me. Pretty well struck as Half Dimes go too.
