Found this 1927 penny. At first I thought it was one, but as I got to looking I started noticing stuff that might not be. Lincoln's nose is jacked, there's a line through the O in "of", and between the "e" and "p" on "e pluribus" it looks to have another e indented between them. Plus the coloring on the back is funky. Am I seeing things? If not, what would that be worth?

I agree with @SD2017 about the damage. The color difference might be an improper alloy mixture, but seems more likely to be that part of the coin was covered with something (glue, tape?, soda residue?) for part of its life and has now some areas which are toned dark brown while others are not.

Cool beans... thanks for the tip on the editing. I know the scratches are PMD... but if you look just outside of his nose, it looks like the curls from the back of his head or something else may have been stamped there first? Plus the e from e pluribus has something stamped between it and the p. (You can see the top of what looks like another e in the rim.) I think I may have found one that was stamped over something else. Lol.

This is all Post Strike Damage that you're seeing, not an error. This is pushed over and flattened metal.

It's all PMD. Spence is correct about the color difference.

The nose/eye area had me interesting, until I saw how beat up the rest of the coin was. But people damage coins and ruin the coins future.
