I've been working a lot this month. Tomorrow is my first day off since May 30th. It was well worth it but haven't had much time to post the few finds I've had lately. Here's a couple 1989 P and a 1989 D. I think the D is less common and I think it's the #4 on coppercoins. I have 3 nice 1989 P DDO and I've come to the conclusion they are impossible to identify. . Here thery are

They're definitely DDO's for sure. Nice finds and congratulations!

#1 IDK, not seeing it at all, have to check markers, no sign of thickness, looks deterioration

#2 possibly is this one, note the thinning(red) and thickening(yellow), but need to verify by markers

#3 IDK, only way is for match of MM placement with known Denver example, don't have time to do at moment

EDIT: What else I find interesting is the almost identical doubling seen on the Denver #3 and Philly #2 dates...makes me wonder if this isn't a Master Die Doubling...suggest you pursue this with Coop and John Wexler.

Wexler does list these as a Doubled Working Hub. But I find them scarce enough to be collectible. And some of them have slight variations in the strength and location of doubling, so I'm not sure if I agree 100% with Wexler.

I believe they are all DDOs. The picture for coin #1 could be better but I do see the extra thickness.

Coin #1: Can't identify without more die markers. Didn't find any with the same die scratches around the date in my first look through.
Coin #2: Obviously a stronger doubled die than the first coin. Tried to use the die scratches as a die marker to match but there are multiple dies with horizontal die scratches in the same area.
Coin #3: Not listed.

Thanks guys. That makes sense about the doubled working hub. I was wondering why I was finding so many of them and having a hard time iding them

I have seen a few where the reverse has "chubby" letters. I don't know if it is a DDR or not,but I have kept a few of the nicer condition ones.
