I found this today and have never seen anything like this before. The coin is very shiny and the fonts are very large, even on the back. Their are deep holes on top of head and overlap of the rims.

What would cause such a thing? To me..., it appears to have happened during mint but need a professional opinion as I'm still a newbie. Thanks

Shawn

This did NOT happen at the Mint. This is Post Strike Damage. It's a Dryer Coin.

It all looks like damage to me (not mint errors), but I'm not 100% convinced that this happened in a clothes dryer. In any case, this coin can be spent.

Squished and smacked. Rim has no indication that this is a Dryer Coin.
