hi, I went to the store to day and got this 1884 IHC back in change, this was the first time I ever found a IHC in my pocket change, not bad condition, looks like someone just used it to buy something recent.

Great grab. We seem to see more 100+ year old coins in circulation than we did 30 years ago.

Nice to find an IHC in circulation. Looks like it probably was once in someone's collection.

Wow that's an amazing find, congrats! Quote: Looks like it probably was once in someone's collection. That's depressing to think about.

That is awesome. I'm close to 50 and have never received an IHC in change!

Maybe you traveled back in time? (BTW, I found an IHC in change for the first time earlier this year. And I've been searching my change since 1972!)

Quote: Great grab. We seem to see more 100+ year old coins in circulation than we did 30 years ago. It may be a sign that as people get older, their collections aren't as precious to them anymore and they were having fun putting them into circulation.
