i have a 1979D penny with what looks like a j on Lincolns chin, also a filled mint mark, can anyone help with this?

There's no 'J' on a Lincoln Cent. PSD (Post-Strike-Damage) Filled mint mark is probably from a broken post on the die that when it breaks off, leaves a void on the die, thus the mint mark is filled.

In the future, please include cropped and upright photos of the coin in question.

Without them we can only guess at what the coin may show.
