1975 D Nickel Mint Error - Coin Community Forum

JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21630 Posts	Posted 07/04/2018 3:29 pm Not an error but a variety called high mm placement. That's the location the "D" was punched into the die. There would be as many minted as they got out of that die before it was replaced. (If it wore out after 10,000 impressions, then that is how many were minted with the "D" in that location.)
