I've said this in many posts we are here to help new collectors learn and to point them in to where they will be able to advance in the hobby. My guess is that you are on a very limited budget that is why you post extremely worn coins in most cases beyond ever being ID with certainty. These are culls and have little to no numismatic value and really IMO only hinder the learning process. You would be better served saving your money until you have enough to buy some coins that you would be to learn from and be proud to own. I'm sorry to be so harsh but I want see you advance in the hobby, but that wouldn't happen until you learn what you should and should not buy.

I understand and yes I know these are culls. Its just part of a lot and was very cheap. And yes you could say I am on a budget, but in my opinion by purchasing worn coins I drastically decrease the chance of wasting money on a fake one. Also I dont collect for rarity, I collect for history. I get a kick out of possibly owning something in my hand created thousands of years ago that could have been in the pocket of some famous people in history( I know how unlikely that sounds)

I do have some coins that are in good to excellent shape and I consider this a relatively new hobby of mine,so as a newbie I want to save my money and I have no desire to sell any of my coins at this time. If I did I would buy less worn coins.

By the way , I want to say again thank you so much for all your help. Especially Bob- who is truly gifted at this.

Do you have any idea who this might be? His nose kind of stands out. Not sure but it comes across as maybe an early emperor, or even Julius Caesar.

Cheers!

Based on portrait and fabric, perhaps a Roman provincial struck in the Balkans during the first half of the 3rd century. I would begin here: http://wildwinds.com/moushmov/index.html

It won't be in RIC. If you don't find it Moushmov, here are some additional resources for Roman provincials:
