I've been clearing out my numismatic collection to pay for more important things and I've never been much of a radar collector. With that being said, I've kept any radars I have found over the last few years and was hoping to get some input on the best places to unload them in the GTA.
Do radar notes actually carry a premium or are they just fun to collect anyhow? I've sold some for slightly over face value in the past but the store has since closed to my understanding.

Don't tell a prospective buyer that you are "unloading" them . It might discourage them.

i would sugest ebay, and start the price at least 20% over what you would like to get.. that will cover all your fees..
Rest in Peace

I'm not concerned about the wording I used in the title. One persons trash is another's treasure. I believe a radar collector would either be interested or not, based on the condition of the bills rather than my wording.
I don't expect much over face value for them so ebay would likely not cover the face value after fees.
Spend them? That might be one way to get rid of them, but certainly not the best way.
Anyone know of any dealers in the GTA that might be interested?

-check that thread.

Just keep in mind that dealers want stock they can easily sell. So if your radars aren't high grade, a popular series/denomination, 1-3 digit (with high eye appeal) its unlikely they'll be keen to buy them off you. What they'll give you is marginally above face (unless they're solids/2 digits/commemoratives/etc). At least that has been my experience with most dealers. I've offered them UNC+ radars, repeaters & replacements for very little over face and they've waved me off because the notes weren't 1969 or earlier.

Your best bet (if you really want to unload them) is to sell them as "lots" either here (I see you are permitted to sell) or on ebay factoring in their commission.

Walk2dwater, thanks for the input.
I've got several radar notes, of different denominations. I'd be happy with anything over face value. It'd be nice to see someone who collects them ending up with them, but if I can't find anyone in a week or two, I'll use them to pay some bills.
