I was wondering if anyone could tell me about this coin? There are some very obvious errors on here.

Can you point out what you believe to be errors? I see pretty much a normal circulated Lincoln Cent

An explanation of what you see would help.

Well on the front you can see that part of Lincoln's chest is missing... it kind of looks like a wing or something is stamped into it. And on the reverse, you if you look on the left side of the monument, you can see a pretty obvious error. I put arrows on the pictures so you can see where I'm looking.

Ok... I've seen a couple of coins like this on Here. It's suppose to be a common thing on these ones. I have another one that shows very similar marks, but not as dramatic. Here are some comparison pics with another 1973 d cent that's not as bad. If you look closely at Lincoln... his nose and chin are a little too long compared to the one below it. And the gap between his jacket at the bottom is wider than on the other one also. On the reverse... there's a "wrinkle" on the bottom left corner of the monument, and that slant between the top of the two left pillars that's not on the one below it. What it looks like to me, is that somehow the top part of the die rotated a little as it was stamping the coin, and that's why his nose and chin are longer. And if it would have clashed after it rotated that would put the slant in the right spot to have been an upside down bust on the reverse pillars, and the end of the monument would have been what took out the front of his chest as it turned. I hope that makes sense?

Oh yeah... And the "e" from e pluribus is completely gone.

As you surmise, it could be a sunken die, but with a little surface damage which partly obscures it. As far as the potential for differences in Lincoln's profile, a good method for evaluating this is to make an overlay so that you can very closely compare those features which seem different.

Oh! I understand, you're referring to the area behing the memorial, not the pillar itself, I apologize, I didnt have the expertise to see exactly what you were referring to.

Judging by the other post linked that certainly looks like it could be an example of it, clearly we need some people with a little more experience than I to confirm it though

That's definitely the famous Sunken Die error on the 1973 D LMC that you have. Take a look at this thread I made. http://goccf.com/t/305110

Yay! I didn't think I was seeing things. Lol. I'm getting better at taking pictures and figuring out how to explain what I'm seeing. I found another one I thought was maybe a progressive of this one. But I'm almost positive after inspecting it further that it's a double if not triple stamped 73 d. I really didn't think my grandma left me a box of junk.
