captainmandrake1 Pillar of the Community United States 878 Posts	Posted 07/08/2018 6:26 pm I'm a new collector and just got some 2X2 mylar Saflips. I noticed that there is a kind of iridescent rainbowy film on the flips. Is that how these flips are supposed to be? I'm just worried about harming the coins that I will be placing in them. oriole Pillar of the Community Canada 5246 Posts	Posted 07/08/2018 7:08 pm The rainbow effect is an optical effect-interference fringes is the technical term-because the two pieces of plastic are so close together. You can see if you touch the plastic the fringes move and if you separate them enough they disappear. Report this Post to the Staff
