hi,
found a nickel.... just wondering the letters are bigger and also on the 6 in the date it looks weird? All my other nickels don't look like this. The 6 is smaller and not as thick and don't go all the way up into the side? thanks

It looks like late die state, which would account for the large or "fat" lettering. I am not positive, but it looks like your nickel may have spent a short amount of time in a commercial dryer, i.e. .a " Dryer Coin". The rim seems to have been compressed onto the lettering.

The devices are worn down, do to heavy circulation wear. It's NOT an error, just Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). It's unfortunately worth face value.

Note the date area in general. Note the incuse mark on the 19 to the rim. That is a mark from some type of contact the coin went through. The 6 is evidence that the flattening happen on that area of the date. So this is just damage to the coin. Thus why you didn't see it on other examples. No premium. Just PSD. Why did others give you a different answer? They didn't see the crease across the 19 area. This is rare to stump the other members here. But I spotted it and wanted you to have the correct answer. (they do also) Why? Because we care here. We try our hardest to give the correct answer. Even if I'm wrong, I still want the correct answer to be posted. Its the right thing to do.
