This one is actually a CAC'd MS63. When I get it in person this weekend I will try to determine why it is graded as such. I agree with the grade from pictures, But I will see how it looks in hand and if some of the marks are worse in person. Based on the pics, the luster does not blow you away on this coin as some other 1914d coins do. It happens to be a more lustrous date and this one looks more average regarding the luster so I think that may be it but I am very curious myself.

Don't see any reason it shouldn't have received a 64. Very PQ for the assigned grade IMO.

I should find out in a few days hopefully when it arrives. May have to wait till early next week. I am anxious to see it. Will report back with my own crappy photos. If you look carefully in "unum" on the reverse there are some very hard to see dark spots. Will see how they appear in person. Also like I mentioned this series at ms64 and even ms63 often has more luster then the other dates of the series. This one appears from the photos more adverage compared to some ive seen. Cant wait to see! I would not have bought it if I did not find it attractive from the pics.
