I'm just seeing a normal cent with glare probably hiding what you are looking at. The 1968-1972 cents had a lot of Machine Doubling on them. The MD looks like flat shelf like areas on the coin. They are flat because of die movement after the strike altered the devices. They will appear as one color from being flat and no contour on that side. Like this:
