Hey everyone! I'm new to currency hunting and have run across a low serial number start note. It's a 2013 US $1 Star note and was wondering if anyone is able to tell me the rarity of it and possibly how much it could go for if I were to sell it (which I probably won't). Thank you all! Welcome to CCF.
Your note is desirable, even in circulated condition. It's a short run star, 250K, and probably worth $25-$50 to the right collector. Personally, I do not consider the serial number to be low. Get it into a quality currency sleeve.

to CCF. Not a bad find. Put it in a Mylar holder and do not bend any of the corners. As to value, check ebay sold values for an idea of current value. John1

. You might want to check out the Whitman currency binder for small notes. Nice binder, protects the notes, you can see both sides and has a slip of paper on the side you can make notes on. Your note is not folded which is a life saver... putting it in a sleeve or binder will keep it nice.

"Keeper" for sure. Yes, store it well (in a holder would be a good start) and get to know what "star replacements" go for. Good luck on future note hunting...

Good advice. It isn't the serial number that makes it attractive in this case, but rather the series/district. to the Paper Money Forum!
